31st Annual Love-Light Tree Ceremony in Mondovi
Posted 12/4/2019
American Lutheran Communities - Mondovi is hosted their 31st Annual Love-Light Tree Celebration on Monday, December 2nd at 6:00 p.m.
The ceremony included a reading of names of residents who have passed, and a special angel ornament was given to a family member in remembrance of their loved one.
Following the service, ALC-Mondovi staff lit the 31st Annual Love-Light Tree and celebrated with Christmas music, cookies, and hot cocoa. For a donation of $5, people placed a variety of lights on the tree to symbolize deceased loved ones and deceased children, honor family and friends, honor those who are serving or have served in the military, or to express a Christmas greeting.
“Everyone is welcome to this holiday event,” said Sandy Glomski, American Lutheran Communities Activites Director. “The end of the year is a time to remember those we lost, but also to celebrate with the ones we have.”
