American Lutheran Communities - Menomonie Honored With Safe Resident Assistance Program
Posted 3/17/2020
American Lutheran Communities – Menomonie is one of only seven senior care communities in Wisconsin to be selected to receive a patient lift from LeadingAge Wisconsin.
This device will lift and transfer patients from one spot to another, such as from a chair to their bed. Benefits of using a patient lift include reduced risk of injury to residents and caregivers. American Lutheran Communities – Menomonie was selected out of 50 applicants.
Amy Duhr, Chief Operating Officer of Grace Lutheran Communites, which manages American Lutheran
Communities, said, “The team at our 5-star facility in Menomonie continues to demonstrate their commitment to providing quality care and safety for both our residents and staff.”
American Lutheran Communities has been helping our friends and neighbors in communities all over western Wisconsin since 1949. The non-profit organization specializes in rehabilitation, assisted living and skilled nursing at American Lutheran Communities - Menomonie and Autumn Village Assisted Living in Menomonie and American Lutheran Communities - Mondovi and Hillview Senior Living located in Mondovi.
